- To identify factors that commonly contribute to the creation and perpetuation of conflict
- To practice “untangling the knot” of conflict through:
- Management of self and setting
- Grounding in a shared and compelling purpose
- Listening to understand

- Managing the path
In this workshop you will learn tools and strategies to:
- Understand the difference between intent and interpretation
- Develop practices to enable emotional self-management and the shift from reactivity to mindful balance and choice
- Identify a shared and compelling purpose for conflict resolution
(for example, restoring trust for the sake of the mission) - Attend to creation of a conducive time, space, tone and mindset for conversation
- Identify and check assumptions and conclusions
- Examine standards and the grounding for assessments
- Practice active listening and respectful inquiry
- Seek common ground and manage the path towards cooperation, compromise and resolution
