Change Management Services & Communication

Change management is deliberate and proactive management of the changes happening in the organization.  It is important to manage the activities of managing the  people side of change as actively as the system side of change.  After all, the real benefit from your investment in change is realized when the people in the organization implement the change.  Here are some of the tactics we manage in large change initiatives.

  • Assess the overall changes happening in the organization (what else is changing during our project and how does it impact our stakeholders?)
  • Define key success factors
  • Plan Organizational Change activities
  • Develop communication plans and manage communications
  • Define job changes and explain them to individuals and work groups
  • Define and implement high impact/high risk process changes
  • Define and manage performance risk – what happens if things go wrong on day 1?
  • Manage training development and delivery – how do we know people will know how to do the new job?
  • Create “Day 1″ measures so we know what should be happening immediately after implementation
  • Implement changes
  • Monitor “Day 1″ measures to identify issues
  • Address issues
