Belinda
Gore,
Ph.D., is a psychologist, executive coach and experienced
seminar leader who is skilled in supporting her clients in high-level
learning. With 30 years' experience in leadership development and
interpersonal skills training, she is known for helping teams discover
strength in their diversity to achieve their mutual goals, and works
with individual leaders to access their natural talents to maximize effectiveness
and personal satisfaction. Her clients have included senior leadership
in global companies, senior and middle management in both corporate and
non-profit organizations, and entrepreneurs. She will be leading
our new service line focused on helping leaders and their organizations
build resilience along with offering leadership team development, board
development, coaching and Enneagram assessment.
Belinda’s capacity for personal warmth, rigorous thinking, and
global awareness contribute to her being a catalyst for transformational
change. As “coach’s coach”, she works with other
professionals to refine their ability to listen with sensitivity and
awareness, and to guide their clients with knowledge, wisdom, and accountability.
As the president of a non-profit organization with
international membership, Belinda has personal experience with board
development and balancing strategic thinking with the realities of
financial management and program implementation. She
is a founder and former managing partner of Wilbridge Consultation Center,
a multidisciplinary group using a holistic approach in working with individuals
and groups. Belinda’s versatility allows her to engage with
multinational groups and diverse clients who include Allstate, The Kantar
Group, U.S. Navy, The Ohio State University, McKinsey,Online Computer
Library Center, Inc., The University of Texas Medical Branch, as well
as high-tech start-up companies.

Leadership Advice – “Level 5” Leader
Relevant Accomplishments:
Designed and delivered “Creating a Whole Brain Solutions Team” to
assist a highly technical financial services team learn tools for collaboration
in order for the team and its individual members to become more innovative in
a highly competitive market. While highly competent as technical experts,
and generally able to get along with each other, the group nevertheless functioned
in silos. This program gave them information tailored to the Expert level
to provide a scientific foundation for the tools that were introduced and implemented,
and a comprehendible framework to support the changes that were essential to
making their team competitive in the financial services marketplace.
Delivered a highly intensive coaching program for a high level executive whose
physical health issues were jeopardizing her capacity to perform at the level
at which she was capable. This included interfacing with the executive
team as well as the client’s health care network to provide an Integral
approach to high-level functioning. Because she is a leader at Level 5,
a Strategist, her value to the organization is crucial to its success in a time
of high transition, making it worthwhile to invest in an intensive program of
this type.
Designed and delivered a one day program for middle and upper level managers
in an organization undergoing a major reorganization, to assist in managing the
stress of teams who were unclear about their own job security and were experiencing “survivor
guilt” when colleagues lost their jobs. The focus of the program was to
clarify a model for “stress hardiness” in which people learned resilience
and to leverage the changes for positive outcomes at every level of the organizations. Human
Resources staff were included in the program and requested that every person
in this mid-size global organization have access to the program. While
that level of penetration was not implemented, his request spoke to the value
participants perceived.
