Selected experience:
- As an executive coach, Dena interacts with individuals
interested in further their success in their professional and personal
lives. She
helps them modify their behaviors and explores the thought patterns
underlying these behaviors. She provides solid practical tools
and guidance using “Level Five Leadership” research as
part of her foundation.
- While working at a Fortune 100 company in their
Corporate Development Office, she focused on mergers, acquisitions
and divestitures. She
participated in 15+ projects and managed deals involving companies
worth upwards of $100 million. She led the due diligence efforts
for both acquisitions and divestitures.
- As an economic analyst for an international
financial services corporation, she conducted research and analysis
relating to the mortgage industry. She created and updated a monthly scorecard
with economic indicators for upper management. In addition,
she developed and executed a multifactor macroeconomic statistical
study linking mortgage default rates to major market indices and
federal statistics.
- She was part of the Crisis Response team at
a national not-for-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities
included preparing proposals and presentations for business leaders
as well as monitoring disasters across the country.
- A Certified Internal Auditor, Dena worked in
the Internal Audits department of an international insurance company. She participated
in financial reporting, operational and compliance audits. In
addition, she managed audits, completed testing and fieldwork and
worked with clients to implement suggested changes.
